SAP FICO & MDM (Data) Analyst

Job Description:

As an SAP FICO Consultant and MDM Data Analysis, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing our financial processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of SAP FICO modules and deliver solutions that meet the organization's financial requirements. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master Data Management:
  • Manage MDM Creation and Change Requests from Business
  • Review and Track google form requests for MDM Changes
  • Updating the MDM Playbooks time to time
  • User Training and Support:
  • Performing the Test to prove the solution is working as expected by the business.
  • Facilitate user training sessions to optimize the utilization of SAP FICO capabilities.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with IT and end-users to address system-related concerns.
  • Production Support:
  • Responsible for managing the day to day incidents in SNOW
  • Working with business user
  • Data Integrity: Perform regular data audits to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data. Resolve any data discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Data Governance: Execute data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with applicable regulations, internal data privacy policies.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with finance and IT teams to improve and streamline master data processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance with internal control requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of master data processes, guidelines, architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and perform data analysis to support decision-making processes, identifying trends and anomalies for further investigation.
  • Audit Support: Provide Audit related support and work with SOX teams to implement controls.
  • Support: Provide day-to-day support for SAP FICO modules, addressing end-user issues, troubleshooting problems, and resolving system errors promptly. Perform regular system monitoring, maintenance tasks, and updates to ensure system stability and optimal performance.
  • Configuration and Customization: Assist in the configuration and customization of SAP FICO modules based on business requirements and process improvements.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials.


  • 5+ Years of rich experience in the areas of SAP FICO & MDM
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, SAP certification) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an SAP FICO Consultant
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles.
  • Excellent understanding of SAP FICO configuration and customization.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to lead, create, be analytical and foster a collaborative problem-solving environment.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction in a dynamic, fast-paced, fast-growing company where flexibility is imperative.

Base Pay Range 


Base Pay: INR 1,600,000.00 - 2,200,000.00 per year 

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
