Splunk is seeking an analytical and strategic operation's leader to join the Global Go-To-Market Strategy & Operations Team (Senior Manager and individual contributor). This individual will be a key business partner and trusted advisor to our Global Sales Engineering team.
You are data driven, system savvy, intellectually curious, a fast learner, detail oriented and able to move quickly while keeping focused on high impact projects with limited direction and supervision. Equally important, you know how to communicate effectively with sales leadership and senior executives across multiple departments.
Planning – Work with global leadership teams as well as cross functional leaders (Sales, HR, Finance, Product, Marketing, etc.) to design and execute the technical sales coverage strategy, determine the resources required to execute the plan, align on strategies and execution plan with our direct sales teams, and socialize the plan with the broader GTM team. This person will be the strategic voice of the Sales Engineering team.
Execution – Manage day-to-day operational tasks, including but not limited to headcount and resourcing allocation, run and maintain key important metrics, prepare SE Leadership teams for business reviews, improve processes and increase efficiencies for the organization as well as for the sales operations group.
Reporting & Analytics – Ensure key dashboards and reports are accurate and relevant. Leverage existing and/or new applications to improve delivery technology. Collaborate with senior management to refine important metrics and interpret results into actionable recommendations. Identify trends to improve business results including lead conversion, lead management and pipeline reporting.
Project Management – Ensure surgical execution of the strategies across the various GTM functions. Ensure all parties are well-aligned and socialized of various initiatives launched by the Global Sales Engineering team.
