Job Description: Senior Business Systems Analyst - RevPro
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Revenue offshore lead- Rev Pro to join Splunk's Finance Technology Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of a robust revenue automation solution. Your primary focus will involve prototyping, designing, and configuring solutions using the Zuora Revenue (RevPro) platform and integrations with SAP S/4HANA ERP.
You will work with a dynamic, distributed team responsible for constantly evolving the systems and processes supporting our Finance and Accounting functions. You’ll be responsible for the design and delivery of new or enhanced solutions for revenue automation within the Zuora Revenue (RevPro) platform. You’ll work closely with business, IT partners and other partners to design, build, test, and deliver high-quality solutions.
You will also collaborate with a global hybrid team of business analysts and engineers supporting production applications and maintenance of 24x7 applications in a SOX compliant environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Business Operations, to accumulate requirements and design effective revenue recognition solutions as per ASC 606 requirements
Configure, customize, and optimize the Zuora RevPro platform to meet the specific needs of the Finance and Revenue Business teams.
Develop wireframes and prototypes to demonstrate the proposed revenue recognition solutions and collect feedback from stakeholders.
Write Solution Design documents for Revenue processes and functional specifications for Rev Pro system
Propose design and reporting solutions for Revenue reporting and automation for Rev Pro system
Define future strategy and transformation solutions for Revenue team
Knowledge of SAP system is OPTIONAL but good to have
Devise and perform testing strategies to validate the functionality, accuracy, and performance of the revenue automation solutions.
Identify and resolve any technical issues or system defects that arise during the implementation and maintenance phases.
Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, facilitating their effective utilization of the revenue recognition solution.
Stay current on the latest RevPro features and enhancements and proactively work with business teams on testing and adoption
Report and communicate the status of on-going projects
Work with ZUORA support team to resolve day to day support issues and out of box solutions
Provide feedback to the Revenue team on process improvements and recommend process transformation in Rev Pro
5-12 years experience working with RevPro in a consulting capacity or equivalent internal role
Strong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue accounting principles
Strong knowledge of SQL and the RevPro data model
Thorough understanding of the Zuora RevPro platform and its capabilities and integration touchpoints
Strong understanding of the design of SSP allocations within RevPro
Experience configuring bundles in RevPro and related upstream integration
Experience with multi-currency transactions in RevPro and reconciling RevPro to General Ledger in a multi-currency environment
Excellent problem-solving skills, enabling you to analyze complex business requirements and design effective solutions.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, growing company where flexibility is imperative.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Well-organized; able to multiple tasks and prioritize in a high-pressure environment with minimal direction.
Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex system integration projects, within the finance system.
Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and function effectively as a teammate.
Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash process flows
Preferred knowledge and experience: These are a huge plus.
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and Salesforce platforms, including their integration frameworks and capabilities.
Experience implementing modules or features within a Tier 1 Cloud ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, Workday)
Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management systems
Experience writing SQL queries in Snowflake or other RDMS
Education: Got it!
Bachelor degree computer science, computer engineering, accounting, business administration or equivalent work experience is preferred
Post-Graduate degree is a plus for consideration

Base Pay Range
India
Base Pay: INR 3,200,000.00 - 4,400,000.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate.
