Senior Renewal Operations Program Manager

As a member of the Customer Success Operations team at Splunk, you will help design, implement and manage enterprise-wide System Tools, processes and programs. We are looking for a strategic thinker, with excellent Customer Success and Saas business insight. In this role you will provide subject matter expertise in business analysis, process design, and project management activities. You will be responsible for leading the implementation of the necessary tools, processes, and reporting to ensure the success of our transformation.


Are you an experienced Program Manager with a ton of SaaS domain experience in the area of Customer Success and Retention? Do you have a strong Operational Mindset, able to approach work in a structured and methodological way, and collaborate cross functionality to drive outcomes and meet deadlines? If so, we have the ideal role for you!

As a member of the Customer Success - Recurring Revenue Business Intelligence and Operations team at Splunk, you will be responsible for managing our entire portfolio of programs and projects in Renewals, including the successful delivery of a renewals management system, auto-renewals program, and predictive forecasting analytics capability. The Senior Renewal Operations Program Manager will work cross-functionally within the Splunk Organization, aligning resources, influencing priorities, and serving as a strategic voice for the program. This person will help us lean into governance around our programs so that leadership has visibility into what is on-going, what resource capacity looks like, and what programs/projects might be at risk.


• Manages the overall program portfolio for Renewals
• Develop options and recommendations to drive critical decisions
• Help to implement governance across all renewal ops programs including ease of visibility for CS leadership.
• Monitors project dates, project milestones, and project schedule
• Identifies scope creep and works directly with manager to ensure that all changes in the program/projects have executive buy-in
• Facilitates meetings and other communication, including status reporting and meeting notes
• Seeks process improvements, and works directly with team members to ensure processes are updated in real-time
• Technical writing experience is a plus
• Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, team player, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Results oriented person with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
• Does not manage personnel

Key Requirements:

• 5+ Years managing large-scale technical projects and programs
• Motivated, organized self-starter, able to solve routine or complicated problems effectively and
drive projects to successful completion.
• Comfortable with authoring many types of documents, including agendas, action/project plans,
and presentations. Strong skills with spreadsheets and a variety of data/information.
• Understanding of project management best practices like agile, scrum, etc.
• Experience with regularly used tools – JIRA, Confluence, Google Suites, etc.
• Willingness and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Able to work independently.
• A passion for technology and an ability to identify new opportunities for efficiency and productivity
• Validated experience in a high growth, highly scaled SaaS environment
• Experience managing project financials including an in-depth understanding of ROI
