Renewal Sales Role Excellence Lead, Global Enablement

Role Summary
The Renewal Sales Role Excellence Lead, Global Enablement will play a critical role in driving the success of our renewals process by developing and executing strategies that maximize customer retention and satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of SaaS business models, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to implement effective renewal strategies.
This position is a global, hands-on role that involves working closely with Renewal Sales leadership, Technical Enablement, Go-to-Market and other cross-functional partners. The role's primary focus is improving the effectiveness of Splunk Renewal Sellers which has a direct impact on customer satisfaction and success.
This role is ideal for an experienced SaaS Renewal Seller or Renewal Enablement Program Manager who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced, highly collaborative, matrixed environment who is committed to delivering engaging, agile, scalable, and most importantly, impactful learning experiences. This individual works with flexibility, attention to detail, and a positive “can do” attitude. While the primary responsibility is not training delivery, applicants should be natural facilitators and collaborators. What you'll get to do

  • Define the Renewal Seller's journey from onboarding to role excellence to provide a strong start for new Renewal Sellers and continuous support to build and develop their expertise throughout their Splunk tenure
  • Equip Renewal Representatives with the knowledge and skills required by their global role definitions
  • Develop and implement comprehensive renewal enablement strategies to achieve and exceed renewal targets and improve retention rates.
  • Create and maintain a renewal playbooks with best practices, guidelines, and tools to support the renewals team.
  • Work in unison with the Global Field Enablement team to design and implement cohesive training programs, drive alignment across regions, and ensure consistent execution of strategic initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our field teams.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including renewal sales leadership, Splunk EDU/Technical Enablement, HR, and other GTM teams to align and integrate the Renewal Seller Journey with broader Splunk initiatives
  • Routinely audit and drive updates of Renewal Seller learning paths, resources, and materials
  • Drive the adoption of the Splunk Unified Engagement Model within Renewal Sales organization to ensure a consistent customer experience

Must-have Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Renewals Sales/Enablement experience
  • Critical thinking, outstanding writing and editing, impeccable planning, and strong relationship-building skills
  • Operational skills with the ability to vision and build scalable, repeatable programs
  • Project management and change management skills with experience working with a sales ecosystem
  • Able to represent concepts, vision, and objectives, communicating across enablement organizations and business partners, supporting the building of role-relevant learning experiences
  • Ability to identify and communicate gaps or areas of improvement in Renewal Sales Enablement Journey
  • Well-organized, tenacious and persistent; able to lead multiple projects and results while prioritizing in a high-pressure, often changing environment. An entrepreneurial, problem-solving attitude and growth mindset

  • Demonstrated experience leading renewal onboarding program design, development, and deployment successfully with measurable results at a mid to large-size fast-growing tech company
  • Renewals sales enablement experience in a fast-growing software organization

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $132,000.00 - 181,500.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $118,800.00 - 163,350.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $105,600.00 - 145,200.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
