RSM SLED Public Safety
Role
We are seeking a ground-breaking Enterprise Software Sales representative to focus on our law enforcement/public safety vertical within the State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) team in a specific territory (West). Our law enforcement/public safety vertical is uniquely positioned to help agencies use data to support intelligent policing decisions throughout patrol, investigations, and case adjudication. The ideal candidate will have sales experience and a thorough understanding of law enforcement and public safety technology needs. Preferred candidates will have a terrific reputation for overachieving quota while focusing on the customer. This role requires a self-starter driven to develop and outperform a territory coverage plan, consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets, and improve market share.
Responsibilities
You will use your sales experience and connections in the public sector to close multi-million dollar deals within law enforcement and public safety. You are a self-starter and will execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets. You will bring your innovation to the table to help close more deals with this customer.
You understand law enforcement and public safety and the technology that supports the connected officer, investigations, and reporting functions of large, midsize, and small law enforcement agencies. In this role, you will drive engagement on the IT side and work with security analysts, software developers, and architects. You will also establish relationships and work with executive-level law enforcement and public safety personnel and others within any U.S. agency. You are a strong and creative thinker who thrives in a multi-team environment and adopts all aspects of selling. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, are a creative collaborator, and embrace change.
Requirements
Note: Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the On Target Earnings (OTE) ranges are guidelines and for candidates who receive an offer, the OTE pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out below, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to OTE, this role is eligible for benefits, and may be eligible for equity

OTE Pay Ranges
For sales roles the ranges are expressed as On Target Earning or OTE (OTE = base + incentives in the form of sales incentive plans).
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area
On Target Earnings: $244,000 - 335,500 per year
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), New York (excludes NYC Metro Area), and all other states.
On Target Earnings: $236,000 - 324,500 per year
