Reporting to the Procurement lead you shall use the skills and experiences that you have collected so far in your professional journey so as to contribute to a team that continually seeks to be better.
As a key contributor to the team your:
Role:
You will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally across the entire Sourcing & Procurement in supporting our business partners in various functions on purchasing goods and services from predefined suppliers.
The successful candidate shall be exposed to all things Sourcing and Procurement across Product, Technology, Marketing, Events, Professional Service, Employee Benefits and so on with mentoring, guidance and training provided to shape you.
Responsibilities:
- Treat Purchase Requisition accordingly to establish Sourcing method
- Review requestor Purchase Requisitions for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor risk profiles of business critical suppliers.
- Review requirements against contractual documentation and non-contractual documents
- Support Splunk's processes and policies.
- Build relationships with the Category Managers
- Learn to work cross-functionally on sourcing related initiatives.
- Serve our business partners to do their best work in a timely manner whilst protecting Splunk’s customers, reputation, operations, legal and financial risk
Requirements:
- Ariba
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Preferred minimum 2 years work experience and/or:
- 4 Year Degree in Supply Chain Management (or directly related)
- Excel or Google Sheets
