Role
Are you passionate about launching new programs and services to increase sales productivity? Do you want to help us move the needle and build a culture of continuous learning at Splunk? If you answered yes to these questions, then we have a home for you! You will be pivotal in building a consistent approach for on going learning at Splunk and managing launch process to the field including new products and services in addition to incremental product updates. Through established partnerships with key cross-functional partners, you will ensure our field sales and partner resources get the best training and ready to go with new launches in the market.
Responsibilities
You are an individual contributor but a born leader and will guide and motivate a team of both cross-functional and enablement resources to execute on the effective delivery of enablement launches and programs for the field. You are the primary interface to all field services, marketing, product acquisition teams, and other functional organizations across Splunk. As a leader, you are responsible for driving all facets of our continuous learning programs including eLearning modules, sales play materials, field communications, live and/or virtual training sessions, etc. for our global sales teams.
You are very organized and detail oriented, you excel in program/ project management, and you communicate with tact and ease at all levels. You thrive in an ambiguous environment and are adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts, as well as leading through relationships and influence, and you display grace under fire. You focus on automation and scale of your programs to ensure growth of our enablement practice. And lastly, you enjoy building processes to ensure programs are impactful, and you actively seek and welcome feedback for ongoing improvements.
Requirements
- You have 8+ years of a strong, proven track record in one or more of the following disciplines: New Product Introduction / Field Enablement / Program and Project Management (Experience developing and leading successful teams of PMs is an asset)
- The above experience is in a fast-growing enterprise software company and groundbreaking technology
- You have a passion for enablement and delivery and you have "moved the needle" at your previous organization when it comes to enablement and have the metrics and data to back it up
- You have the ability to effectively multi task coordinate and work across functional teams – at various levels, internally and externally, in-person and virtually
- Ability to work well in chaos, thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay flexible through growth and change and you have wonderful interpersonal skills
- You are creative, meaningful and innovative with program delivery
- Experience driving multiple projects to completion according to deadlines
- Natural social skills, and communicator and know how to bring fun to the work environment
- Experience with Salesforce.com and Smartsheet
- BS or equivalent
