Product Advisory Manager Intern - Remote (Summer 2021)

As a Product Advisory Manager Intern, you will be dedicated to operational & process improvements and marketing efforts across our product feedback portfolio. You will be responsible for standardizing the data collection for our pre-release programs and building a repository of customer research and feedback questions to ensure we’re collecting meaningful insights to drive product strategy and development.
You should be inventive, adventurous and comfortable with ambiguity, quickly hitting the ground running with limited information. You should be innately curious about the challenges our customers face and passionate about constantly striving to build new value for our customers through our technology and expertise. And most importantly, you should love being part of a team that obsesses about helping everyone: a customer or fellow Splunker.
Responsibilities
- Standardize data collection for beta programs
- Build repository of survey questions that can be used across feedback programs for rich analysis & insights
- Build & launch benefits program for Product Advisory Council (PAC) customers
- Coordinate lunch & learn series for PAC service offerings (i.e. how to select the right customers, how to build a comprehensive beta program, how to get the feedback you need to drive your product outcomes)
Skills / Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Strong project execution skills, attention to detail and quality and a risk mitigation demeanor
- Ability to reason with data – you can define clear success metrics and go deep in understanding how to pull and structure data in the right way
- Ability to convey ideas optimally, listen intently, deliver strong product requirements, and drive consensus across functions and teams
- Ability to deal with ambiguity – given an open-ended task, you can deliver phenomenal work with minimal direction
- Self-motivated and strong passion for collaboration and teamwork
