Splunk PTM (Partner Technical Manager) is a role that leads and fosters partners in terms of technology, and is a very important role in the Splunk Korea team, where most of the business is done through partners. If you become Splunk PTM, you can maintain close relationships with Splunk's major partners and help them establish efficient business plans, and make full use of Splunk's products and usecases that are applied to various domains such as security, IT operation, and observability. You will support and educate partners so that they can do business and grow together. In particular, we will tightly work with the engineers of each partner and support successful Splunk delivery to the customer.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Secure leadership for the latest products and technologies and provide enablement for partners
  • Fostering distributors and major reseller engineers
  • Host customer events and support or host sessions with partners
  • Leading the local Partner Engineer Community
  • CSP, MSP, MSSP discovery and support

  • Understand Splunk's vision and have technical leadership in partner engineer groups
  • Establish trustworthy advisory relationships with partners
  • Maintain seamless partnerships with multiple stakeholders, including Splunk Sales, PDM, customers, partners, and marketing.
  • Problem solving mentality

 Requirements: I've already done that or have that!

  • Experience as a sales engineer or partner engineer from a global vendor
  • Experience in preparing and conducting product and technology training for partner companies
  • Knowledge and experience in operating system, application program, software language, hardware, network, etc.
  • If you have knowledge and experience in a specific domain such as IT operation, security operation (SIEM and security analysis), business analysis, cloud, DevOps, Observability, etc., would be a plus
  • Presentation experiences at various events
  • Fluent in Korean and English
