reliable systems that enable our customers to thrive. We are a diverse and dynamic team, dedicated to our work, committed to customer success, and focused on supporting each other.

Splunk is growing its APAC partner team and is seeking a Partner Development Manager (PDM) specialising in Observability to enhance and grow strategic partnerships, particularly within the Asia region.

The role involves leading innovative GTM strategies, cultivating executive-level relationships, and driving significant business growth. Efforts will directly contribute to generating incremental software license and service-related revenue, creating a measurable impact on Splunk’s success.

As a trusted advisor on Splunk’s Observability products and services, this position plays a pivotal role in fostering meaningful partnerships at a senior level. Applying expertise and building strong connections will help drive the adoption of our Observability solutions across the region.

Key Responsibilities

This role encompasses crafting and implementing strategies that drive partner success and business growth. Specific responsibilities include:

Work will span Splunk Partners, Distributors, Managed Service Partners, Global System Integrators, and Cloud Providers. Cultivating these relationships will help partners achieve their go-to-market objectives.
  • Driving GTM objectives: Partnering with Service Providers and Cloud-Native partners to align their Observability GTM goals with Splunk’s solutions. Facilitating mutual success by aligning priorities and delivering measurable outcomes will be a core focus.
  • Advocating for partners: Collaborating with internal collaborators to represent the unique needs of the Asia Partner Ecosystem. Acting as a bridge between partners and Splunk ensures partners have the support and enablement required to succeed with Splunk’s Observability portfolio.
  • Supporting and traveling: Visiting partners, engaging with prospects and customers, and actively participating in marketing events to reinforce relationships and strengthen Splunk’s position in the region.
  • Problem-solving: Applying organizational and analytical skills to overcome challenges and remove obstacles. Adapting strategies and finding creative solutions will drive success for both Splunk and its partners.
  • Growing in a dynamic environment: Excelling in a fast-paced sales organization. With a growing partner and customer base, embracing challenges and opportunities while demonstrating resilience and adaptability is essential.
