Role
Splunk is seeking a talented, self-directed marketing intern to support key initiatives related to our demand generation marketing programs. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the demand generation team by providing analysis and insights that can be leveraged to increase marketing effectiveness.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for working and collaborating with cross functional stakeholders (Demand Generation, Digital, Paid Search/Social, etc.) to analyze and optimize key marketing programs across channels.
- Report fundamental metrics related to campaign performance
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to discover industry, company, and customer trends
- Develop forecasting models to predict channel level marketing performance
- Uncover campaign performance gaps
- Find new ways to optimize reporting through automation and ingenuity
- An interest in marketing and technology
- Has a “get after it” attitude
- Ability to think and act strategically and tactically
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Solid organizational skills, including prioritization and time management
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to summarize and communicate important data
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
