The Marketing Programs Manager will be part of a team of marketing and product professionals responsible for designing and executing marketing campaigns and programs to existing Splunk customers. You will turn customer adoption and retention strategies into reality by executing through an integrated customer journey approach. The focus of this role is understanding the overall campaigns, executing globally and working within a set budget across all promotional channels. You will work closely with the Customer Success Marketing team as well as Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Web Design, Digital Marketing, Regional Marketing and Marketing Operations functions.

  • Execute customer-focused marketing programs that drive engagement and support Splunk adoption and retention initiatives.
  • Own the comprehensive program channel execution including email campaigns, webinars, event follow up, nurtures series and social media.
  • Work closely with content and design teams to create emails and landing pages for webinar registration.
  • Work with our ABM and Digital Teams for advertising, SEO and customer segment deliverables.
  • Maintain marketing database segmentation to ensure any communications delivered are relevant to the audience receiving them.
  • Work closely with customer success marketing on mapping marketing database segmentation to personas.
  • Act as a liaison to oversee synchronization of marketing programs executed by the regional, events and partner teams to ensure the overall framework and templates are leveraged.
  • Communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders in the field to manage communications and review content online and across landing pages, emails, and webinars.
  • Ensure all programs are linked to campaigns to ensure accurate campaign ROI tracking.
  • Analyze email, webinar and all campaign performance for continuous improvements. Share findings across customer success marketing. Including A/B testing on programs.
  • Report on results including reach, engagement, conversion, velocity that builds engagement, leads and opportunity creation.


  • 6+ years of related demand generation and customer marketing experience with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing is preferred.
  • Data driven and experience executing full-funnel global campaigns in the technology industry preferred.
  • Understanding of complex technology, products and Cloud-based messaging a huge plus.
  • Proven experience working with and leading execution of campaigns with global reach.
  • Working knowledge of Eloqua (or other marketing automation tools) to design, build and execute integrated programs including landing pages, emails, forms and reporting.
  • Strong project management skills including production schedules, budgets, stakeholder coordination, and agency/vendor oversight.
  • Excellent written, oral, and social interpersonal skills across multiple audiences and methods.
  • A strong presence; creative, confident, and decisive.
  • A solid understanding of integrated, multi-touch, multi-channel marketing design based on a foundation of data and analysis; the direct experience with executing campaigns, optimizing reach, awareness, and nurture, and adjusting for optimization.
  • Strong attention to detail.
