IT-Ops Observability Consultant, Remote

Role Summary:
The Splunk IT Operations Consultant has a strong understanding of how to implement technical solutions to automate the processes of IT organisations and business that will be required to ensure the successful adoption of the solution by the client and adopting best practices to improve delivery success and value realisation. This position has a 56% customer effective utilisation target and occasional travel to customer sites to perform work as circumstances require.
Responsibilities
Shape customer expectations and align outcomes with customer requirements with focus on business value.
Perform configuration of the Splunk ITSI and Observability product suite to meet the customer requirements.
Facilitate appropriate workshops and other sessions to capture technical requirements.
Provide oversight at key achievements and manage expectations during implementation
Requirements

Consistently delivers high quality results, including on-time quality deliverables and meeting project timelines
Identifies and exploits future opportunities to drive additional value
Successfully handles stakeholder expectations through strong communication and documentation.

Experience in delivering IT Operations Management solutions
IT Monitoring and Automation domain expertise in operations management software specialisms
Demonstrable experience deploying software monitoring solutions and associated infrastructure, in both on-premise and cloud environments
Configuration experience with Windows, Linux operating systems and databases such as, SQL, Oracle or DB2
Cloud implementation experience e.g. AWS, Azure. Certification preferred
Strong technical implementation experience in Splunk ITSI or similar product sets e.g.
IBM, Netcool, Microfocus ITOM, BMC TrueSight, Cherwell, Ivanti, ServiceNow
Technical implementation experience defining metrics, thresholding, and reporting baselines
Proficient in English, both written and spoken
Driver's license is required

Base Pay Range
Czech Republic
Base Pay: CZK 900,000.00 - 1,237,500.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
