Role:

As a member of the IT Solutions Organizational Change team at Splunk, you will help develop and lead change programs to ensure we realize successful outcomes on our key projects and programs

In this role, you will lead change projects within our IT Solutions Portfolio to support large scale IT implementations. You will also be accountable for crafting and running dynamic change and enablement programs, company-wide communications, and acting as a trusted advisor to our business partners to ensure goals are met.

We are looking for a fun, hardworking, and creative Change Manager that possesses broad knowledge and expertise in organizational change methodologies, communications, enablement and training practices within a technology-centric environment.

What you'll get to do:

  • Design and implement organizational change plans; includes written communications, training, job aides, measure user impact and success).
  • Own the development of a communications framework, strategy, and operating rhythm for communicating with all internal partners including, but not limited to, executive staff, senior management, project teams, business unit partners and employees
  • Partner with the IT Service Desk to ensure Support teams are prepared for the launch of new/improved systems, tools and processes.
  • Identity and evaluate potential change resistance and develop/implement mitigation tactics.
  • Define success metrics for the change before the program starts and measure against post the program ends
  • Develop partner engagement and management plans, including handling a feedback loop to identify gaps and introduce plans to address and mitigate issues
  • Establish relationships and deliver results with functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Information Security, Products Organization, etc.
  • Develop approaches and strategies for training and leading the enablement plan and delivery
  • Support our Lean-Agile approach to drive continuous improvement and increase value for the company.
  • Partner closely with IT Program Management to ensure tight interlock to drive outcomes

Must-have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience and understanding of applying organizational change methodologies, processes, and tools to build and implement change plans to drive user adoption.
  • 5+ years of communications experience; Excellent written communications and presentation development; able to build copy for a variety of vehicles including: email, web, training materials, and collateral.
  • Hands-on project experience in the areas of communications, enablement, and training
  • Strong ability to measure and report on organizational change progress, future planning, and success.
  • Ability to lead team members with effective communications
  • Program management expertise/certification
  • Good problem solving and influencing skills
  • A critical thinker and collaborative team mate
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (Agile certifications a plus!)
  • Bachelor's Degree – in Business Administration, Information Technology, Communications, Journalism, Industrial Psychology, Change (certification) or related field/experience
  • Post-graduate or professional degrees preferred (MBA or Master’s Degree a plus)

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $104,000.00 - 143,000.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $94,400.00 - 129,800.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $84,800.00 - 116,600.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
