Role
In this role, you will be part of a team of product marketing professionals responsible for the positioning, messaging and integrated GTM of Splunk’s solutions targeted at IT organizations and IT professionals. You will learn about and help contribute to thought leadership, launching new solutions, and opening up new market opportunities for Splunk and our partners. You will help define meaningful ways to engage relevant personas and market use cases effectively. You will learn how to navigate market segments and produce the content necessary for the Splunk field organization and partners to drive opportunities. You should have a bias for action, a willingness to learn and a burning desire to win!
This role will focus on helping elevate our customer marketing efforts, which means your primary focus will be on discovering and documenting our customer’s successes. Strong writing skills and a passion for storytelling are a must.

Responsibilities
- Engage with our customers to help translate technical details into compelling stories told through videos and case studies.
- Work across the marketing team to provide customer-focused content for website, collateral, PR, media and industry analyst briefings, tradeshows, online marketing, etc.
- Work closely with field sales, inside sales, marketing, professional services and others on messaging and customer marketing.
Skill Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Graduate degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, Software Development, Engineering or similar fields.
- Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills including an ability to create and deliver effective presentations.
- Must be a self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced software start-up environment.
- Knowledge of the IT industry a plus.
