Splunk's GDI (Getting Data In) team is responsible for building products, tools, and technologies used by thousands of Splunk customers to bring data from a large number of systems and products into Splunk. We are looking for an exceptional Integration Engineer to work as part of the team chartered with getting data into Splunk and ready for analysis as quick and easy as possible.

Role

Build Splunk Technology Add-Ons (TA) to integrate IT and Security systems and devices with Splunk analytics.
Participate in the whole TA development life cycle, including non-technical, process related steps.
Analyze the information provided in logs and map it to Splunk's Common Information Model (CIM)
Participate in the code review of TAs.
Works with Product Managers on defining user stories and acceptance criteria
Attends customer escalations
Participate in a regular on-call rotation in support of TAs owned by the team.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python and ability to use other programming languages across our entire ecosystem.
Experience with Splunk or other SIEM/Log Management tools will be a huge advantage.
Being comfortable with command-line applications, source control, testing frameworks and other aspects of developing in large, distributed software teams.
Proficiency in cloud-based solutions and experience of operating large volumes of data (terabytes per day).
In-depth knowledge of the regular expressions.
BS EE or CS degree; 5 + years related experience (or Masters and 4 + years related experience or PhD without experience).

Base Pay Range

Poland

Base Pay: PLN 168,000.00 - 231,000.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
