If you answered yes then we might have a home here for you at Splunk! The Inside Sales Rep (for Named Accounts) will be responsible for expanding and growing territories for Splunk. You will use your sales, negotiation and leadership skills to prospect, and conduct lead generation techniques and sell Splunk's award-winning software into well-known brand-named companies. You have a consistent record of selling software or services and you know how to build beneficial, positive relationships with customers.

Responsibilities:

You will follow up with in-bound leads and status update through the company CRM system as well conduct outbound prospecting and lead generation. You are an expert at qualifying leads and you will schedule product demos for customers.

Display a real passion for handling accounts by building and fostering client relationships through personalized contact, understanding of client’s needs, and ability to communicate solution values of products and services.

Job Description:

The Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for prospecting, lead generation and selling Splunk's award winning software. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success selling software or services and in building beneficial, lasting relationships with customers. This position will be selling Splunk's software and services as part of a team including field sales person and sales engineer into Japan geographic territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Inbound lead follow-up and status update through the company CRM system
  • Outbound prospecting/Lead generation
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads
  • Schedule product demos for qualified customers
  • Manage accounts by building and fostering client relationships through personalized contact, understanding of client’s needs, and ability to communicate solution values of products and services
  • Accurately forecast opportunities based upon realistic assessments
  • Meet/exceed assigned revenue goals

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in selling enterprise IT solutions
  • 2-3 years of End User Software sales experience
  • 2-3 years experience carrying a quota
  • Consistent historic over achievement of quota in a similar position
  • Consistent track record of success in consultative sales environments
  • Consistent track record of managing sales cycle, from generating leads through closing
  • Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Native Level Japanese Communication skills with Fluent English
