The GSI Lead is responsible for managing end to end business partnership for named Partner organization and developing Splunk sales opportunities in India and support Indian origin GSI's across APAC. In particular, the role will require someone who can develop and execute a winning and scalable go to market strategy. This individual must have strong Senior Executive level relationship with Key GSI's particularly with India Origin and have deep understanding of the their business model. 

Job Description

This role needs a high focus on sales execution through the India region and support key markets across APAC. Key responsibilities would include:
  • Establish an execution plan with GSIs and execute via a structured channel cadence
  • Develop joint solutions with GSI's and help with influencing architectural framework to include Splunk.
  • Drive Partner enablement leading to joint engagement in the field.
  • Coordinate with Splunk technical /veritical subject matter experts to influence and support the Partners
  • Work with SPlunk Professional Services and business consulting (BC) team on enablement across all the key functions (Sales, pre-sales, Services and Support).
  • Drive APAC wide initiatives by working Splunk Field Partner Development team in key markets. 


Industry Experience and Requirements
  • 12-15+ years of relevant experience within a software / solutions environment.
  • Resonable business knowledge with sales/Channels background.
  • Experience managing global SIs and familiarity with Cloud GTM would be an advantage.
  • Inquisitive and persistent: always looking for a new way to do things. Asking the tough questions – expertise to see the “big picture”.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to set clear priorities in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Able to travel as needed.
