Are you an experienced Leader of Renewal Operations with a ton of SaaS domain experience in the area of customer success and retention? Are you passionate about transforming organizations by setting strategic objectives and defining key results? Do you excel at defining and driving global cross-functional programs at scale? If so, we have the ideal role for you. As a member of the Global Strategy and Operations team focused on Adoption and Renewal, you will be responsible for leading our entire portfolio of programs and projects to optimize the renewal of recurring revenues, including the successful delivery of a renewal management system, auto-renewal program, and predictive forecasting analytics capability. This transformational leader will work cross-functionally within the Splunk Organization, aligning resources, influencing priorities, serving as a strategic voice for the program, and driving the successful execution of the renewal programs.

Key Responsibilities –

  • Build and manage the overall portfolio of programs to scale and optimize renewal of recurring revenues.
  • Lead the improvement of processes related to the renewal motion, including renewal risk, upsell, cross sell, adoption and churn.
  • Partner with Sales Operations, PMO and IT to define the required features and functions to support all aspects of the renewal transformation programs across key Splunk Systems (SFDC, CPQ, Gainsight, Clari, etc.)
  • Implement governance across all strategic renewal transformation programs, ensuring all stakeholders have clear visibility to on-time pacing, roadblock resolution, and key decisions.
  • Provide oversight of project dates, project milestones, and project schedules for renewal initiatives.
  • Understand the renewal day-to-day motion and work directly with our renewal reps to help them with the systems and processes necessary to exceed their goals and targets.
  • Write policies and procedures which optimize subscription renewals.
  • Put in place programs to mentor and develop direct report team members.

Key Requirements –

  • 10+ years of experience in a combination of Renewal Sales, Renewal Operations, or Customer Success operations.
  • Experience in a high growth, highly scaled SaaS environment.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS and Enterprise Sales business model including customer lifecycle measures and SaaS revenue streams.
  • Experience supporting a quota-carrying renewal team and driving improved productivity.
  • Deep experience with and Renewals Management/Recurring Revenue Management software (i.e. Gainsight).
  • Experience defining and managing large-scale technical transformational projects and programs with accountability for outcomes.
  • Excel at decision-making, consensus building, and gaining alignment across cross-functional groups.
  • Understanding of project management best practices like agile, scrum, etc.
  • A passion for technology and an ability to identify new opportunities for efficiency and productivity.
  • Results-oriented person with the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing policies and procedures for renewal of subscriptions.
  • Experience managing project financials including an in-depth understanding of ROI.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
