Role Summary

The Global Partner Organization is looking for a Global Channel Incentives Manager to join us. In this role, you will assist with the incentive budget planning, new incentive design and implementation, and compliance for Spunk Channel Incentives. You will work closely with various team members in the Global Partner Organization to analyze, advise, plan, and handle budgets, enabling team members to maintain forecast accuracy and optimally prioritize. 

What you'll get to do

  • Be responsible for Channel Incentives budget and forecast accuracy in close partnership with the Finance team
  • Find opportunities to optimize budget across different teams
  • Lead financial incentives vendor relationships
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance team, and the Global Partner Org teams to set up and optimize processes
  • Work closely with Theatre Partner Sales, Marketing, and Program teams on development of annual and quarterly channel incentive business plans across different partner types and partner programs
  • Work with the Finance, Operations, and Business Intelligence team to define and design cadenced and ad-hoc reporting including forecasting to track value from investment by partners and partner programs
  • Work with Global Partner Programs team in defining and implementing incentive requirements for new partners programs or improving existing programs
  • Act as the subject matter authority to provide support on incentive related questions, e.g., program guidelines, critical issues, etc.
  • Be responsible to develop, maintain, and coordinate Channel Incentive Program knowledge base including operational end-to-end process flow, program training materials, and partner-facing collaterals
  • Provide incentive training support to Splunkers and partners
  • Act as the Lead to coordinate external vendor(s) relationships
  • Prioritize workload in order to help partners and the Splunk Partner teams to meet deadlines and work according to the process and overall compliance
  • Support selected business programs outside of existing incentive programs, i.e., launching and supporting new partner program

Must-have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, or a technical discipline
  • Experience with channel incentive program management (MDF, rebates, etc.)
  • Experience in process optimization and process documentation
  • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) tools like Salesforce
  • Experience within or with a partner ecosystem
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven service mentality
  • Experience working in a team environment, providing proactive assistance to other members of the team
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-up
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, multi-task environment
  • Ability to work in a global environment across various time zone

Base Pay Range 

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area 

Base Pay Range: $129,600.00 - 178,200.00 per year 

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts 

Base Pay Range: $116,000.00 - 159,500.00 per year 

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area. 

Base Pay Range: $104,800.00 - 144,100.00 per year 

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
