Field Marketing Manager, EMEA North

Splunk is searching for a rockstar Field Marketing Manager to be a part of the North EMEA (Nordics and Benelux) growth journey, by developing and leading the execution of marketing programs, directly impacting the pipeline generation as well as strengthening our brand in the region. You have a demonstrated track record of managing and delivering marketing strategies and programs on time, and on budget. As we are a rapidly growing company, you will also be comfortable with changing priorities and responsibilities. Is it a match?

Reporting to the EMEA Field and Partner Marketing Director, you will be enjoying the best of two worlds with one foot in the North EMEA business team, and the other in the fast-growing EMEA Marketing team. The role is strongly focussed on our success aligned to sales success, if you have a background from sales that will definitely strengthen your case.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver strong, data driven marketing programs to drive pipeline generation and awareness in the region
  • Maintaining a strong market knowledge, which you will use to optimize field marketing program execution; including executive events, digital programs, regional sponsorships, hands-on workshops and more to showcase customer success and demonstrate the value of Splunk to support new customer acquisition and expansion
  • Run the regional calendar and e-mail cadence to ensure optimal engagement and prevent fatigue from our target group
  • Partner with digital, content, social marketing and marketing operations to align multi-channel execution
  • Work with key partners to develop joint marketing plans and campaigns and evaluate the marketing performance of partners
  • Cross collaborate with supporting marketing teams including partner, product, online, social, PR, customer references and others to integrate field programs into customer buyer’s journey

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Structured, data-driven and project management approach to planning, execution and follow up
  • Well versed within the different tactics used in the region to attract our target audience
  • Deep experience working with Salesforce.com and Eloqua (or equivalent ma-tools) to execute integrated demand generation programs and measure their effectiveness
  • And end to end approach to marketing activities and programs
  • Experienced within vendor- and budget management
  • Experience with through partner marketing program execution
  • Exceptional teammate who has partnered with sales and marketing teams
  • Track record of marketing results and strong analytical mindset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. English plus one of the Nordic languages is a must
  • Used to manage small team in geographically distributed environments
  • Strong business focus is a requirement
