Role Summary

Splunk is looking for a Field Marketing Manager to lead development and execution of marketing programs that support our Northeastern U.S. and Canadian Sales organizations.

As a Field Marketing Manager, you will be the face of Marketing to your region, driving growth targets development and execution of marketing programs, directly impacting pipeline generation and strengthening our brand in the industry. You will have a demonstrated track record of improving data insights to identify positive outcomes and gaps to drive marketing plans and programs on time, on budget, with measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales leadership and AMER Marketing team to build a plan that aligns with regional goals and priorities.
  • Plan and execute strong, data-driven marketing activities and programs to drive pipeline generation and awareness in the region.
  • Lead promotion of regional marketing programs, including Splunk-led events, regional sponsorships, executive events, hands-on workshops and more, to showcase customer success and demonstrate the value of Splunk to support new customer acquisition and expansion.
  • Manage the regional calendar and email cadence to ensure optimal engagement and prevent fatigue to enhance success.
  • Work with Partner marketing and development managers to develop joint marketing plans and campaigns and evaluate the marketing performance.
  • Cross collaborate with supporting marketing functions including AMER programs and campaigns, ABM, social, PR, customer marketing and others to build and coordinate overall regional strategy and integrate field programs into buyer’s journey.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven experience in marketing enterprise software; IT-specific software a plus; BI or SaaS experience a plus.
  • Fluency in French Canadian language is required
  • Location based in Northeastern U.S. or Eastern Canada is required
  • Strong market knowledge
  • Data driven approach to planning and execution
  • Well versed within the different tactics used in the industry to reach and attract our target audience
  • Deep experience working with Salesforce and Eloqua (or equivalent tools) to execute integrated demand generation programs and measure their effectiveness
  • Have end-to-ended, hands-on approach to marketing activities and programs
  • Budget management experience
  • Exceptional teammate and ability to influence others in a cross-functional forums
  • Track record of delivering marketing results with a strong analytical mindset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Base Pay Range

Canada

Base Pay: CAD 99,200.00 - 136,400.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
