The Event Content Manager reports to Splunk’s Worldwide Event content strategy team, enabling events such as our global user conference, .conf, SplunkLive! Events, Sales/Partner Kickoffs, industry programming, and other high-value programs. Broad marketing and event management experience is expected, but this position requires specific skills, including project and brand management, content curation and proven success with cross functional work experience leading teams toward a project goal.
This position will include the substantial task of agenda and content development for user focused programming with upwards of 400 sessions. This role is responsible for the entire content process, including call-for-papers campaign, content review, committee management, session selection management, reporting and analytics, and speaker support services.
This role will also include a focus on community engagement strategies to produce event materials which reflect a global audience of Splunk users and advocates. This may include gamification, surveying and hosted listening programming to ensure the voice of the customers and users is heard.
This position resides within the Global Event Marketing team as part of the Corporate Marketing organization.
