Splunk is here to build a safer and more resilient digital world. The world's leading enterprises use our unified security and observability platform to keep their digital systems secure and reliable. While customers love our technology, it's our people that make Splunk stand out as an amazing career destination and why we've won so many awards as a best place to work. If you become a Splunker, we want your whole, authentic self, what we call your "million data points". • Experience in building software abstractions and tooling to enable developer velocity.
  • Experience in CI/CD governance, monitoring and metrics driven architecture.
  • Own end-to-end availability and performance of critical services to reduce operational overhead
  • Drive for Automation. You constantly challenge the status quo and are driven to automate manual processes. You inspire teams to embrace this philosophy.
  • Cloud, container and virtualization experience. Innovating and scaling secure services on-prem and different cloud providers is a plus. You will use Splunk, SignalFX, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP, Gitlab and other best in class technology.
  • Foster growth. You will meet with team members on a regular basis, help plan and support career development, and recruit top-tier developers

What We provide

  • Impact. An ecosystem to continuously improve processes that directly enhance reliability for our thousands of cloud customers.
  • Strategy. An opportunity to decide what this team should look like one year from now. As we automate existing manual processes, what skills should the NOC learn in the next 12 months?
  • A team of incredibly capable and dedicated peers, including engineering, technical operations, sales, support, and management.
  • Breadth and depth. You are interested to work on an area that dynamically scales to meet the needs of Splunk’s offerings. You want to go deep into optimizing our manual processes and tedious tasks we encounter.
  • Growth and mentorship. We believe in growing managers and engineers through ownership and leadership opportunities. We also believe that mentors help both sides of the equation.
