Splunk's Cloud Control Plane group is looking for a NOC Manager to help lead and grow our Cloud Network Operations Center (NOC). The NOC is a group of system-minded engineers handling cloud alert remediation 24x7 across three shifts. The responsibility of this team is to monitor and resolve issues that affect the availability and performance of Splunk for our cloud customers. As the authority on our customer’s experience, our team is the frontline of defense in making sure each of our customers have an outstanding experience.

Responsibilities

Lead one shift of our 24x7 NOC. Half of your shift team works Sunday through Wednesday, and the other half works Wednesday through Saturday.
You work Monday through Friday, having sufficient overlap with your reports' shifts (10am to 9pm Central European Time).
Develop, retain, and hire an engineering team, focused on making our industry leading technology even more valuable to our customers.
Plan and support career development through one-on-one conversations.
Diagnose and resolve systemic obstacles that prevent your team from finding and resolving problems within Splunk Cloud.
Champion an atmosphere of continuous improvement by serving as a leader, mentor, and technical advisor.
Partnering with your peer NOC managers, Technical Operations, the Incident Response Team, and many others to improve customer reliability.
Stay organized and communicate your team’s plans, roadblocks, and wins to the organization.

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out below, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
