We are building state-of-the-art products, tools, frameworks, and technologies used by thousands of Splunk customers to bring data from a large number of systems and products into Splunk. All these will greatly impact how our customers successfully use data to improve their business performance, scalability, profitability, and market strategies.
We seek a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead the team in charge of Splunk add-ons. You will lead the team that builds and manages add-ons to ingest data into the Splunk platform for all key security and IT sources. We deal with the challenges of ingesting and processing data at scale and in a reliable and real-time manner. Manage the team in charge of add-ons to integrate IT and Security systems with Splunk analytics.
Oversee the whole add-on development life cycle, including non-technical, process-related steps.
Recruit and retain an engineering team focused on making our industry-leading technology even more valuable to our customers.
Diagnose and resolve systemic obstacles that prevent your team from delivering high-quality software.
Partner with the product manager and peers to ensure alignment of your team’s work in delivering product improvements to customers.
Experience leading engineering teams working on large-scale data pipelines, CI/CD infrastructure, and processing systems.
Demonstrated experience in hiring and cultivating teams.
Experience working within geographically distributed organizations.
A broad understanding of various cloud development technologies and industry trends for enterprise-scale, distributed systems is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience with the Splunk platform will be a huge advantage
8+ years of Software Engineering experience and recent 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams.

Base Pay Range

Base Pay: PLN 220,800.00 - 303,600.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
