Role
In this role you will support the team that leads awareness and engagement with the people who drive Splunk’s success the most: our people. Working with our cross-functional Splunk Comms and Engagement teams you will partner on existing programs, and bring new ideas to build the Splunk culture and elevate Splunk as an employer of choice. A great opportunity to work across many functions, with our Exec Leadership and thousands of passionate Splunkers in bringing our Splunk story to life.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, proof-read and edit employee communication materials, including presentations, intranet content, Slack posts and emails.
- Contribute to the employee communications editorial calendar.
- Identify and develop engaging content to post to the Splunk intranet and refresh the homepage on a weekly basis.
- Analyze employee communications metrics to measure effectiveness of communications.
Skill Requirements
- Organized and articulate, with impeccable attention to detail; strong interpersonal skills
- Undergraduate with 1-2 years of writing and editing experience
- Team player who is willing to pitch in on a variety of projects
- Strong project management skills; deadline driven and able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
- Must be a proficient writer and proofreader with knowledge of the fundamentals of writing, grammar, syntax, AP Style, and punctuation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining a positive attitude, sense of humor, curiosity and a desire to learn.
- Excellent PowerPoint skills.

- Currently pursing their Bachelor's degree
