Director, Product Management - Integration Strategy for Splunk Platform (part of Cisco)
A little about us. Splunk is here to build a safer and more resilient digital world. We’re proud to say that we’re the key to enterprise resilience for more than 11,000 enterprise organizations that use our Unified Security and Observability Platform to keep their systems secure and reliable. We’re also proud of our award-winning culture and our regular appearance on those “Best Places to Work” lists.
Now, as part of Cisco, we are looking to accelerate our momentum towards the future vision.
If you end up joining us, we’ll only ask one thing: bring your whole, authentic self, what we call your million data points. So bring your work experience, problem-solving skills and talent, of course, but also bring your joy, your passion and all the things that make you, you. Because when you feel free to be you, it makes it a lot easier for us to be us.

About the Role

Splunk is looking for a top-tier and deeply technical Product Leader to own the product integration strategy for Splunk Platform as part of the combined Cisco+Splunk portfolio. You will initially be responsible for being the primary product management interface between Splunk Platform and other product areas, particularly other product teams at Cisco. Your charter will be to articulate the overall strategy for Splunk Platform and explore areas of alignment with Cisco’s Networking, Security and Observability products.
You will also drive the initial discovery, and definition of specific initiatives that lead to alignments between Splunk Platform and other Cisco products, to drive differentiated value to our combined customer base. This role is at an outstanding intersection of product management, business strategy and product operations, and would provide you a great platform for career growth into a product leadership role!
You will use your understanding of the data platforms, analytics and big data ecosystem to synthesize ideas that improve Splunk's data platform service offering. Your cross-team collaboration skills will enable those improvements to be conceptualized and delivered to drive meaningful and impactful business outcomes.
You will work on the Data Platform area at Splunk, so a real empathy for the needs of developers is vital, and have a work history that includes some time in engineering roles and M&A experience is a plus. Knowledge in Security, Observability and Networking is an added plus as well.
You will merge attention to technical detail with ability to understand and align to business imperatives, while working hand-in-glove with cross-functional execution teams to drive customer insights and inputs directly into the development process.
