As Director of Deal Strategy and Cloud Economics you will create and implement commercialization frameworks to make Splunk simple and cost effective for our customers. You will partner with product managers and finance to deeply understand Splunk’s cost model. You will design deal structures that drive deal velocity, simplicity, and customer adoption, balanced against the needs of Splunk as business. You will own implementation of the deal frameworks, partnering with the go-to-market (GTM) organization. You will work with senior-level decision-makers across the company on these cross-functional initiatives.
You should have a strong product, pricing, and market background with a high degree of customer obsession. You should excel in product commercialization, business development, consensus building, and creative problem-solving. Enterprise software product and experience collaborating with go-to-market (GTM) will be critical in this role. In addition, the ability to thrive in an unstructured, collaborative environment with a strong level of comfort around sophisticated problems and ambiguous situations. A mindset of ownership with strong execution prowess in a B2B enterprise software context is critical to success.
