Job Summary
At Splunk, we deliver and maintain a world-class web experience on splunk.com. The web UI designer will help elevate all web layouts, artwork, animation, video, banners, and interactive experiences for our website. This includes working on landing pages, microsites, and event web experiences. Reporting to our Director, Brand Design, you will work closely with our brand and creative team, our web team, and other marketing teams to build all the assets needed for our digital web experiences. Our ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of asset creation, social media design, digital advertising, email, landing pages, motion graphics, digital storytelling, and interactive web experiences. Responsibilities
- Using our brand system and brand design to build compelling and unique brand experiences for our online web properties.
- Create web design guidelines and templates for internal teams and outside agencies.
- Partner with our web and brand team to create amazing interactive experiences for our customers and investors.
- Constantly improve our visual expression on the web including how we showcase our software and create immersive storytelling moments.
- Create artwork and layouts that align with our web design system and brand guidelines. While sharing an understanding of best practices to constantly improve our creative output.
- Flex to help other design teams with a variety of design work and campaigns.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s degree in art or design or associated field
- Minimum 5-7 years of graphic design, animation, and web production experience working on a large SaaS/Tech brand either in-house or agency
- Thrives in a fast-pace work environment and can handle multiple projects simultaneously
- A love of graphic design. Someone who is excited to explore art and find ways to bring our brand to life in a variety of experiences.
- An advanced knowledge of the latest design products including Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
- Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to work as a member of a team and has the focus to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio of work examples that show your design talent.

Base Pay Range
Costa Rica
Base Pay: CRC 27,200,000.00 - 37,400,000.00 per year
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
