About The Role

Do you enjoy solving complex, technical security problems at scale? As a member of the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) team, you will work with engineering organizations to implement secure software development practices across the Splunk product portfolio. Within this role, you will develop groundbreaking software solutions that automate security scanning and shorten vulnerability remediation cycles. You will partner closely with Product Security and CI/CD teams to integrate critical security tooling into the SDLC, which helps thousands of engineers securely ship their products to market.

Responsibilities

  • Research, automate, and tune security scanning tools that provide SAST, DAST, and SCA within the company's CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work with product engineering teams to streamline security processes, improve developer workflow, and raise security awareness.
  • Partner with customers, regulators, and compliance teams to implement secure software development practices across the Splunk product portfolio.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, Security, or Software Development roles.
  • Proficient with one or more modern programming languages such as Golang, Java, React, C++, and Python.
  • Experience in building and deploying in cloud native environments such as AWS is a plus.
  • Experience implementing security tooling and automation within software build pipelines is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
