Role Summary

Do you want to make an impact and help transform the way companies do business? Splunk’s Cloud business is continuing to grow rapidly, and we are looking for a top-notch team member to help ensure its success. The Splunk Delivery Engineer will work directly with customers, providing technical expertise with Splunk architecture, data ingestion, and forwarding architectures within both on-prem and cloud environments to ensure our customers realize the greatest value from Splunk and set them up for continued success.

  • Work multi-functionally to get support from Cloud Operations, Cloud Engineering, Splunk partners, and Support.
  • You will become an expert at Splunk data ingest, working with clients to deliver well-architected Splunk forwarding solutions both on-prem and in the cloud.
  • Drive standard methodologies, automation, and process improvements.
  • Design and perform customer deployments.
  • Connect with leadership and provide observations from the field that may help improve or adjust the overall program and provide a better product.

Must-have Qualifications

  • Experience with shell scripting.
  • Experience working within a hosted cloud environment, preferably AWS & GCP.
  • Comfortable working on a Global team, where the primary working language is English.

Nice-to-have Qualifications
We’ve taken special care to separate the must-have qualifications from the nice-to-haves. “Nice-to-have” means just that: Nice. To. Have. So, don’t worry if you can’t check off every box. We’re not hiring a list of bullet points–we’re interested in the whole you.

  • Demonstrate experience with Ansible and Terraform.
  • Exhibit domain expertise in Security, IT Ops, Application Management, and/or DevOps.
  • Hold Splunk certifications and/or have validated experience with Splunk.
