Splunk is rapidly growing its internal Product Analytics capabilities and is seeking a Data Architect to spearhead designing and building data infrastructure for our Products Data & Insights organization. In this role, you will collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to design data collection capabilities and overall architecture for sending data back to Splunk for all current and future products in Splunk’s portfolio, manage roadmap to accelerate strategic decisions, work with key stakeholders to accelerate knowledge curation and self-service consumption, and strongly advocate for product improvements to fuel data driven decisions.
You will ask the right questions about data – what data is collected, how it is measured, where it lives, how it can drive business value, and who should have access. You will nurture good data etiquette and work cross-functionally to ensure data security and compliance. You will help curate insights for key product owners to make analytical decisions. You purposefully address data quality issues and look for opportunities to align both data and metrics collected/used across our product portfolio and business units. You will develop, configure and maintain data pipelines between Splunk internal and third party systems, and in the process identify requirements for our platform and products.
This is a full-time position based in either our San Francisco or Santana Row office or remote.
