Do you have a passion for problem-solving? We are looking for a passionate, driven, and bright Cyber Risk Management Intern to work within Splunk's Global Security Team (SGS). This 40 hours/week internship will be fully virtual and will provide valuable experience working within SGS, and across the company.
Responsibilities:
As a Cyber Risk intern, you will...
- Create and map findings to cyber risks and issues
- Set the priority of findings and issues for risk assessments
- Learn risk management tools and backup the Cyber Risk admin as needed
- Support the building, implementation, and documentation of team processes
- Support the identification, tracking and reporting of cyber risk metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Requirements:
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a business or technical major at an accredited university (target graduation date on/after December 2021
- You have excellent time management and organization skills
- You have strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- You are detail-oriented
- You are passionate about building and fostering good team engineering practices and processes
- You thrive in a rapidly changing and constantly growing environment
- You are awesome with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and web-based tool (SharePoint/Confluence/HTML/etc.) skills
- You have a real passion for team experiences and shared projects
