Customer Trust Analyst (US Remote Available)

Role Summary

Splunk is looking for a motivated Customer Trust Analyst to join our customer trust team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering technology assurance, advisory, compliance and risk management services to the company. The Security Analyst engages with customers with regard to security and governance questions. The analyst will have interactions with the sales and field team via multiple support channels including zoom, email, and chat. The Security Analyst is responsible for providing great customer service through supporting security and governance inquiries, sharing security artifacts, and answering general questions about Splunk product’s security, risk, and compliance posture.

What you'll get to do

  • You will provide resources and support to Field Sales, Sales Engineer, and Customer Success teams to assist with addressing customer inquiries, questionnaires and other requests regarding Splunk's information security program and security controls, with a strong emphasis on FedRAMP and other public sector frameworks.
  • You will assist in security conversations representing Splunk’s information security program in meetings with current and prospective customers, primarily in the public sector
  • You will work with existing team members to collaborate on improving the artifact repository and contribute to developing customer facing documentation that represent Splunk’s information security program and controls.
  • You will own the follow up on committed action plans to ensure appropriate and timely mitigation of identified risks.
  • You will maintain a knowledge base of Splunk security information, collaborating with subject matter experts and key partners across Splunk to ensure the information remains up to date and accurate
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to continuously mature the service to more effectively support Sales in shortening the sales cycle, and meet customer expectations

Must-have Qualifications

  • 5 Years of applicable work experience in Information or Compliance experience with auditing or reviewing controls from industry and regulatory frameworks and standards specific to Public Sector areas of Cloud Compliance - FedRAMP, DISA SRG, NIST 800-53r4/5, CMMC, DFARs or the RMF Process.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Technology, Engineering, Business or equivalent.
  • Knowledge pertaining to cloud concepts and implementations is a plus.
  • Customer service oriented with a problem-solving approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and critical thinking ability
  • Ability to multitask, balance and prioritize work in a dynamic environment, ensuring SLAs are met
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

We’ve taken special care to separate the must-have qualifications from the nice-to-haves. “Nice-to-have” means just that: Nice. To. Have. So, don’t worry if you can’t check off every box. We’re not hiring a list of bullet points–we’re interested in the whole you.

  • Professional certifications e.g. CISSP, CEH, CIPP, CISM, PMP, CISA are a plus.
  • Demonstrated skill in MS Excel, Word and Presentation with a general understanding of data analysis techniques.

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $125,600.00 - 172,700.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $112,000.00 - 154,000.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $104,000.00 - 143,000.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
