Role:

Our Executive Briefing Program connects our most important customers and prospects with our senior and product executives to advance large sales opportunities and renewals. Each year, more than 1,000 customers meet with our Splunk executives around the world and at industry-leading events in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. The Briefing Program Specialist will be a key member of the Executive Briefing Program team working closely with sales, product leadership, marketing, and Splunk C-suite executives to educate and inform customers about the power of the Splunk platform.
This role is ideal for an elite Program or Project Manager, who can orchestrate important customer meetings. The Executive Briefing Specialist will develop customer briefing strategies, build customized agendas, and manage both On-Demand briefings, as well as Virtual Executive Briefing events. Will own and consistently deliver an outstanding customer and briefing experience, including planning, execution, and follow-up. Having a proven track record for planning and hosting customer meetings and events to advance sales opportunities and address customer challenges is ideal. This role will be remote, supporting customers, leaders, and salespeople from around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Use the briefing request form and the account team objectives to host calls, initiate account conversations and influence agenda development
  • Recommend appropriate topics to be presented during each customer briefing
  • Develop and gain agreement on the agenda for the briefing
  • Source speakers to meet agenda objectives and requirements
  • Plan and host pre-briefing with the sales team, executives, and speakers
  • Ensure briefing follow up
  • Regular upkeep of critical planning information within briefing management tool (logos, agenda, speakers, evaluations, meeting summary notes)
  • Communicate impact and results from each briefing with collaborators
  • Support end-to-end logistics, including finalizing agenda, briefing document materials, and virtual information
  • Support our Virtual Executive Briefing Events including: nomination and invitation process
  • ○ Ensure briefing documents are thorough and complete
  • Send out speaker invitations for each agenda
  • ○ Prepare the agendas and briefing documents for the executive packages
  • ○ Support final preparations and logistics, including setting up the calendar invites, creating the virtual information for all attendees
  • ○ Support the Briefing Team with other briefing-related tasks as necessary
  • Create and document campaigns within the Salesforce platform
  • Report, document and communicate performance metrics by leveraging tools, including Salesforce, Tableau, BriefingSource

Requirements:

  • Strong program or project management with experience working with cross-functional teams, tracking deliverables, and managing multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Experience in planning customer and corporate business meetings and communicating with senior executives
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with multiple levels of a global organization
  • Organized and articulate, with impeccable attention to detail
  • Exceptional written/oral/interpersonal communications
  • Self starter; work independently
  • Good analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Splunk and Cisco and its products/services, preferred, but not required
  • Strong business insight experience
  • Experience working with Salesforce, Tableau, BriefingSource, and Jiffflenow software preferred, but not required
  • Proficient in English language with the ability to communicate effectively
  • BA in Marketing or related field or equivalent level of experience

Base Pay Range

Costa Rica

Base Pay: CRC 20,000,000.00 - 27,500,000.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
