Job Description

As an Ariba CIG Software Engineer at Splunk Inc., you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of the Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway. You will be responsible for building and enhancing software components that enable efficient communication and data exchange between organizations and their suppliers within the procurement and supply chain domain. This role requires a strong understanding of CIG setup, procurement and Sourcing configurations in CIG and S4 HANA, Ariba API overview, and knowledge of procurement processes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and business to ensure the Ariba system's effectiveness and efficiency, contributing to the success of our procurement initiatives while furthering Splunk’s long-range goals.

You will also collaborate with a global hybrid team of business analysts and engineers supporting production applications and maintenance of 24x7 applications in a SOX-compliant environment.

Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified:

  • Proven experience of 6+ years with SAP Ariba Upstream and Downstream modules including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Customize Ariba solutions to meet the specific procurement needs of the organization, including workflows, approval processes, and user interfaces.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain software components, APIs, and connectors for the Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway.
  • Knowledge of Ariba API development to integrate between Ariba CIG and S4 HANA and other external systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement integration solutions that facilitate seamless data exchange between organizations and their suppliers.
  • Work very closely with Sourcing/Procurement and internal IT operations team to understand the business requirements and then partner closely with IT development teams and design solutions
  • Providing support to business as they migrate suppliers to Ariba, to include configuration, testing of processes and solving issues
  • Stay updated with Ariba releases, and plan and execute system upgrades and patches to ensure the platform's security and performance.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and workflows for Ariba modules.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to data transmission, processing, and transformation, providing technical support to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Ensure Ariba system compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Ability to work with minimal direction in a dynamic, fast-paced, fast-growing company where flexibility is imperative.

Preferred knowledge and experience: These are a huge plus.

  • Participation in all phases of at least 2 or more full-lifecycle SAP implementation and support.
  • Familiarity with Finance Systems and a strong understanding of financial and procurement processes.

Education: Got it!

  • Bachelor's and Master’s (optional) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Note:

Base Pay Range

India

Base Pay: INR 2,240,000.00 - 3,080,000.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
