Before joining Splunk, Eric worked in a variety of roles from designing and deploying software to satellites, building remote integrated sensor platforms, and designing secure and scalable network architectures to detecting, characterizing, and mitigating network anomalies. As a member of the Splunk Threat Research Team, Eric has focused on building and automating developer-friendly Testing Tools to enable timely, high-quality releases of Security Content to customers. He is deeply interested in optimization and performance and enjoys simplifying workflows, understanding and solving performance bottlenecks, and parallelizing expensive tasks.
