The Splunk Enterprise 6.6 Trellis Contest

Splunk’s new Trellis layout feature, available in Splunk Enterprise 6.6, allows you to use a single base search to easily create multiple dashboard displays. Show stylized numerical metrics, or other single-value indicators, across the top of your dashboard to show different metrics derived from the same search.

Don’t edit XML, copy and paste charts and then modify search parameters on the copied chart. (Phew! Even typing that out was exhausting!) Enter our Splunk Trellis layout contest now and show off your data visualizations skills.

Here are the contest rules:

  • Apply the Trellis layout to any of the following visualizations*: Single Value, Column Chart, Bar Chart, Line Chart, Area Chart, Pie Chart, Choropleth Maps, Scatter Plot, Bubble Chart, Radial Gauge, Filler Gauge, Marker Gauge
  • Submit your best visualization by emailing communitycrew@splunk.com by June 22, 2017

Your submissions will be judged by the Splunk Community and the winner will get a Splunkerific prize!

*Trellis layouts can work with custom visualizations if the visualizations are declared to support it and the feature is enabled.
