It’s time for Splunkers to Brave the Shave

By Eric Scher

We all have a story.  It is personal and it should be. In my case, I have lost friends, an uncle and most recently my mom to cancer. We need action and it starts with the kids. Every three minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer. That is 175,000 kids a year!  Kids are precious and we need to treat them as such. That’s where St Baldrick’s comes in. St. Baldricks is the largest private fundraiser for children’s cancer and funding from St. Baldricks has led to breakthrough techniques and medicines. We are making a difference and need to keep pushing.

Everyone at Splunk is passionate about something outside of work, and this is my passion. Please join the fight… and have FUN doing it. Shave your head, volunteer and donate!!Screen Shot 2016-03-16 at 3.43.50 PM

The ask: The Silicon Valley Brave the Shave event is looking for volunteers.  Come help, donate, or even shave your head..  It is my 7th year in helping out this event and we have raised over $1M…and have saved lives  doing it.  Join the Splunk Bald Team!!!!  Check out my page here for more information.
