Labs Projects

This is where the Splunk Labs examples start. We throw ideas around, see what sticks then put it up here for someone to pick it up and run with.

Frankly, there's a lot of cruft in here, but that's by intent. At the end of the day we'd like enough content floating around to give new developers an idea what they can do with the Splunk Platform.


Developer Specific

  * a RoR specific bundle that provides BI for !RoR installs and includes a !RoR kit for the API
  * flash based widgets (how about a radar display)
  * XAML widget
  * robot hobbyists (not to be confused with robot monkeys)
  * hosted service for the free product to allow people to use it quickly
  * Monitor manufacturing plant assembly line robots
  * Splunk for LOLcats - LOLSplunk - think GIS on steroids... or crack.
  * general purpose search interface for using Splunk as a simple search engine
