Hi,

I got the following error when i click the "Manager" link

500 Internal Server Error
ValueError: can only parse strings
//This page was linked to from http://myip/splunk/en-US/app/mysearch/mydashboard.

I want do know if it is because of some configuration errors or some other reasons.

Hi,

Is there anybody who is familiar with python web framework can give me some suggestions about this error. It happens in this page http://myip/splunk/en-US/manager/myapp. I checked the configuration files but did not find abnormal options.

Hi DIanbo,

Are you logged in as Admin? Have you made any configuration changes to capabilities? Does this only happen for a specific app, or all apps?

Hi Emma,

I logged in as Admin and this happens for all apps.
What do you mean of "capabilities"? how to config it? i just modified some options in web.conf and server.conf.

Hi Dianbo,

Capabilities can be set per role, in the roles screen in Manager.

What have you modified so far? Perhaps one of the things you modified changed your access to Manager.
