Hi. We will be upgrading our AIX servers from 5.3 to 6.1 this spring/summer. According to Splunk support, AIX 6.1 is not officially supported yet but it "should work".
We have tested and confirmed that the Light Forwarder works on 6.1 but not the Splunk server itself.
Is anyone running their Splunk indexer on AIX 6.1? If so, have you experienced any problems?
