i am running splunk on all of my domain controllers and running them in a lightweight forwarder mode to push event logs to my central indexing server.
Since they all have been crashing lately, i've upgraded them to 3.3-38914.
But when running splunkweb to look at the settings, on the main page it shows up as
Splunk "3.2.3" 38914.
It's obvious, by clicking on the admin link, that its running 3.3. But its strange that it would show up as 3.2.3.
Any thoughts?
(its no major issue, just confusing..)
