Hi to Everyone.
I have problem to use the splunk search. The Splunk statys for ever in loading status. I think that is indexing but I let the server running the last 2 days without change.

Hmmm, haven't seen this. Can you open a support case with support at splunk dot com?

Hello,

I have the same problem with Firefox 3.5.5.
It works fine with IE8...

Perhaps, it will help:
When the page is loading, following errors occure:

I don't know if there is a relation, but I not able to add folders in Data inputs, I have the following error:
ResourceNotFound: [HTTP 404] https://127.0.0.1:8089/servicesNS/admin/launcher//_new; None

Generally, this symptom shows up for many different sorts of browser and script problems, so it's unlikely to be the same answer for everyone. These may be caused by a lot of different browser settings and plugins. I would check for extensions and plugins, blockers, proxy settings, SSL settings, etc.

I got this same issues. It seems in my case that after the timeout expired for my user and I was taken back to login page. After logging back in, search says loading forever. Clearing Cache and history resolved the issue..
Guessing there is some saved session cooking that is not being reset after login expires.

Hi Everyone.
I am having similar problem i.e. Splunk stays for ever in loading status.
So without caring about it i clicked the Manager link hidden behind the Loading status, but I am not able to upload local file using add folders in System Configuration/Data inputs.

On click of Save button It results in following error:
