Set up users

Click the Admin link in the upper right hand corner of SplunkWeb.
Choose the Server tab.
Click Authentication Configuration.
Set the drop-down to the name of the Authentication method to use.
- By default there are two values:
  - Splunk
  - LDAP

For a description of Splunk user roles and using Splunk Authentication, see the Add Users section.
