Splunk 3.0 GA Release Expands IT Search Capabilities
More Than 2500 Beta Users Contribute to Final Release

More than 2500 users downloaded Splunk 3.0 beta, applying IT Search to problems beyond the scope of log management and troubleshooting. New interactive filtering and dashboard features in Splunk 3.0 now let customers apply the power of IT search to security, compliance and performance management. New data input options help customers see further than logs into configurations, messages and metrics across all the heterogeneous components of a modern IT infrastructure. Response to the latest Splunk innovations, its new features, and capabilities has been enthusiastic.
