Interested in contributing to the Splunk Wiki? Here are some instructions on adding pages and editing content.

Adding pages

To add a page, simply create a link.

• If you're adding to the Developer space, add a link to the Cookbook.
• To add a page to the Application area, add a link to the More Splunk Applications page.
• Contribute to the Best practices area by adding a link to the More best practices and processes page.

The easiest way to learn how to use and edit this Wiki is to click Edit on an existing page and see how other people did it. For further reference:

The Community namespace

You must add your new page to be in the Community namespace. To do this, prepend your links with "Community:", for example:

[[Community:Mypage|Name of my page]]

Edit content

To edit content, simply click Edit on any page. You must be logged in and have sufficient privileges to edit a page. If you do not already have a login for Splunk.com, sign up here.
