The following issues have been resolved in this release:

A significant crashing issue producing the error "WARN DateParserVerbose" in splunkd.log has been resolved. (SPL-22330)
An issue relating to incorrect conversion of UTF-16LE-encoded content has been resolved. (SPL-20782)
An issue with Splunk becoming unresponsive and an error " Message: EventLoop - Main Thread: about to throw a EventLoopException: error from PolledSocket write: Broken pipe" in splunkd.log has been resolved. (SPL-19457)
